Hmm.  When building maxima, sharefiles.mk is automatically run so it is
supposed to be up-to-date.  But if you just did a clean cvs update and
now want to create a tarball, then I  guess you do have to run
make_share_list.

How do you create the tarball?  Is it from a fresh cvs update?  Do you
run make to create the tarball then?

Let me know and I'll try to fix it so that it is more automatic for this
use case.  (I never make tarballs, so I didn't know about this issue.
