Dear Peter Foelsche,
I don't think it's reasonable to expect that people on the Maxima list will
debug your original problem for you (although sometimes they do!).
Though it is certainly helpful to have a *reproducible* example, the
standard courtesy is to put in some effort to *narrow down* the problem
yourself and to find something closer to a *minimal* example of the problem
you have, removing as much as possible the incidental characteristics of
your particular problem. Ideally, you should find a small case that works
and a small variation that doesn't work.
