There is a package in share/contrib for base 10 logarithms; example:
(%i10) load(log10)$
(%i11) map('log10, [-10, 10^2, 0.001,10^mu]);
(%o11) [log10(-1)+1,2,-3.0,mu]

how can I change the logarithmic base in wxmaxima?
in the help for log(x) you find:
log10(x) := log(x) / log(10);
