maxima-5.30.0 and texinfo-5.1

It seems that texinfo 5 has started giving a non-zero exit code when it
warns or something. Searching for this sort of message turns up loads of
projects with similar bug reports!

Anyway, I've just pushed some changes to the repository that I *think*
fix the warnings we were getting. Most should be completely
uncontentious (I hope). I'm going to send a separate email about the one
big change (s/@var/@mvar/g) in a second.

I have checked these changes work (and look sensible) on the English
documentation. Once I understood what each change did, it was pretty
obvious how to make the corresponding change in translations. However,
there is one edit to to_poly_solve.texi that I wasn't quite brave enough
to do for the Japanese translation. Looking at the git logs, it seems
that Mario wrote it. Is that correct?
