Yeah, on linux dict shows the same. But if you do
dict preamble
dict amble
then it is clear that preamble derives from amble and postamble is a
correct construction.
Also, org-mode uses this terminology

Yeah, that is why I suggested it as a synonym, but I think the idea of
synonymous option names grates on some nerves.
