5.9.0rc3 build failure in numerical/slatec/zbesy.lisp, gcl 2.4.3, gcc 3.2

Oh.  I'm afraid I haven't noticed this development.  What reports have
led to this conclusion?  As far as I can tell, gcl-2.4.3 works fine
with maxima cvs.
