Dear Jim,
Dear David,
Of course I do and I have began this afternoon my lectures on differential
equations to my new students.
Could you, please, David, upload the code somewhere so that we can
use it whenever you feel it is ready for review?
On the other hand, unfortunately, I have proceeded today to the installation
of the local Maxima 5.9.0 to our computer center without these routines,
but I will be very glad to have available and test these routines. If there
is
a permission, I may also distribute them to some of my students in diskette
form, but it's up to David to decide whether this is possible or it is too
early.
Congratulations and many thanks David!
This is the alternative possibility: i.e. that new routines be prepared for
Maxima
independently of the old MIT routines. This may be a solution to the
problems
we face.
I will be very glad to be able to use these routines and, in case of an
explicit
permission, distribute them to some of my students.
Many thanks again,
Best regards from Patras,
Nikos
