Let's change the subject line so my filters don't keep sticking this
thread in my commits folder :-). That might be a good approach.
Eventually, IMHO anyway, strictly historical stuff should probably be
moved to some other place entirely if it isn't functional or applicable
to the current codebase. Maybe where appropriate we could have a
<filename>.historical file or something to hold those bits. Just a
thought.
