Maxima cvs now contains support for a fully-functional command-line
interface under windows. The windows and Unix command-line interfaces
should now be equivalent. Of course, the windows part is brand new, so
there are certainly some bugs left. So far, only Clisp is supported -- I
wasn't able to get GCL to compile under windows the last time I tried.
We will get the GCL version working; I just haven't had the time to work
on it.
The current windows-specific code has just about reached the limits of
my windows programming abilities. If there are any more knowledgeable
windows programmers out there who are interested in contributing, now
would be a good time to jump in.
