wxMaxima problem, was: Maxima 5.10.0 release -- source code tar.gz

In my case both gui's work fine.

But I found a small problem in wxmaxima. When I write

:lisp *maxima-lang-subdir*

and press return, wxmaxima shows no output, and it appears a semicolon
after this line:

:lisp *maxima-lang-subdir*;

Now, if I write a second expression

:lisp *maxima-lang-subdir*; 5+6;

and hit return, I get the two values: "es" and 11.

After that, :lisp expressions seem to work ok.

I see the same behaviour any time I start wxmaxima and with
different :lisp sentences.

This is a test of the 5.10.0 executable in Windows xp.

Sorry, I'm afraid this is not of much help.
