64-bit Maxima on OpenBSD

I ran Maxima on the 32-bit version of OpenBSD and then
switched to 64-bit AMD OpenBSD when I got a new computer.
Now, due to a problem loading CLISP on 64-bit AMD OpenBSD,
Maxima does not run on 64-bit AMD OpenBSD. Is there a
workaround (other than switching operating systems :-) )?
